Straw hat with blue hat band and bow

A straw hat with a blue hat band and bow. The crown and the brim of the hat are made of two separate pieces which are machine sewn together. The hat has a round crown with a blue petersham ribbon adhered to the base of the crown. A bow made of blue petersham ribbon is sewn to the center back of the hat. The edge of the brim is turned upwards. A metal wire is machine sewn along the edge of the brim. A blue petersham ribbon is machine sewn along the inner circumference of the hat. A band of buckram is sewn behind the inner hat band. A rectangular panel of petersham ribbon with angled edges is adhered to the top of the crown at the interior. Two woven fabric labels are adhered to the center back of the hat along the inner hat band. The label on the direct center back reads [JULIUS GARFINKLE & Co. / WASHINGTON]. The label to the proper left side reads [Duby / NEW YORK].
