Ivory cotton wide brimmed hat with ties

An ivory cotton hat with a wide brim and ties. The crown is composed of two side panels of ivory cotton and a single, circular cotton panel for the top. There is a wide brim made from one panel of ivory cotton fabric that is roughly 5” deep, but slightly shorter on the proper right. Metal wire is encased around the edges of the brim and is covered in self-fabric bias binding, which is seamed together at the center back. There are two self-fabric ties sewn to the underside of the hat near the inner crown. The proper left tie measures 15” and the proper right tie is 16”. Both are knotted at the ends. The inside of the hat is unlined, but a panel of cotton twill tape is machine stitched along the inner crown. A white woven fabric label is sewn to the inner back that reads [BLOOMINGDALE’S / (Chinese characters) / MADE IN CHINA] in black text.
