A brown and yellow striped vest, possibly made from Akwete fabric. The front of the vest is made from two panels of brown cotton fabric, sewn to the back panels at the sides and the shoulders. The vest has yellow supplemental silk weaves creating 1” equidistant stripes across the front and the back. There is a deep v-neck and there are two 4.5” wide welt pockets (one on each side) that are slightly slanted inward. The center front closes with five plastic light brown buttons. At the back neckline is 1” wide self-fabric collar and four panels of fabric make up the back of the vest with two 8” shaping darts (one on each side). There are various spots at the back that are stamped with dark purple line designs. The inside is composed of four panels of greenish gray silk faille fabric machine sewn together. There is no label.
