A cream wedding dress with grommet embellishments and a train in the back. The dress features a rounded, wide neckline with a rounded collar, made from two panels of cream-colored acetate – one for the front and one for the back, sewn together at the shoulder seams. There is a cream-colored tulle underlay made from one panel for the front neckline and two for the back. On the bust are two 4” darts (one on either side) and below the bust is an 8” Swiss waist made from one panel of fabric. Each sleeve is one panel of fabric sewn to itself at the underside of the arm, which narrows towards the wrist. Nine metal, self-fabric covered buttons with nine corresponding thread loops are at the wrist of the sleeve. Throughout the dress are white grommet embellishments which create a decorative puckering effect. There is one main panel of fabric for the skirt front with two bias cut godets on either side. Sewn to the single fold hem is a .25” synthetic ribbon, which has been machine stitched to the fold and then hand stitched to the inside of the dress.
