Black straw hat with pleated net trim

A black straw hat with pleated net trim. The hat is made of black synthetic straw, it has a round low crown. The crown and brim and made of two separate pieces and are machine sewn together. Black synthetic net is pleated, and hand stitched to the base of the crown. A black synthetic velvet ribbon is handsewn to the base of the crown below the net. The hat has a circular brim, the edge of the brim is bound in black synthetic bias tape. A metal wire is encased at the edge of the brim. A black synthetic petersham ribbon is handsewn to the base of the crown at the interior. A union label is folded in half and sewn to the edge of the petersham ribbon at the center back of the crown. The label reads [NEW YORK / CREATION / ADJUSTABLE] on the left side. The numbers [352052] are printed vertically in the center of the label. To the right of the numbers it reads [Mfd. / FAIR LABOR / STANDARDS / CONSUMERS' / Protection / LABEL].
