A straw hat with a fabric daisy. The hat is brimless and has a low flat crown. The hat is made of woven straw, starting at the center top and spiraling outwards. A fabric daisy with a stem and leaf is placed at the center front of the hat. The petals of the flower are made of white synthetic fabric pressed with lines mimicking veins. The center of the flower is made of yellow wool blend cut pile fabric and is backed with a stiffener board. A leaf is placed on the stem of the flower, which is made of green synthetic fabric, it is pressed creating lines mimicking veins. A metal wire is placed along the center of the leaf. The stem of the flower is made of metal wire and is wrapped in green paper. The stem is woven though the straw on the front of the hat. A pink petersham ribbon is hand sewn below the straw. Black synthetic velvet is sewn below the ribbon, the velvet binds the edge of the hat. A black synthetic petersham ribbon is sewn along the inner circumference at the base of the crown. Brown synthetic net is sewn at the interior. A plastic comb with three teeth is attached to each side of the hat with a black elastic band. A six-pointed star is sewn to the front of the hat along the petersham ribbon. A woven fabric label is sewn to the center back interior of the hat along the petersham ribbon.
