A grey fur brimless hat with a black chin strap. The exterior of the hat is made of two pelts of on-skin fur, possibly from mink or rabbit. A seam extends from the center front to the center back where the pelts have been joined. The inside of the hat is lined with grey silk faille. There is a cream synthetic brocade ribbon with pink, yellow, and green floral patterning machine stitched to the edge of the hat's interior. The interior ribbon secures the raw edge of the fur which is folded inwards. Two strands of elastane cord covered in white synthetic fabric are hand stitched to the center back of the hat's interior. A strap of elastane cord covered in black synthetic fabric is attached at sides of the hat. The cord has been fed through small holes in the inner band and secured with metal barbs at either end. There is a fabric label with pinked edges at the center back of the hat that reads [BACHRACH’S ® WASHINGTON D.C.].
