Pink strapless taffeta gown with bow and tulle skirt

A dusty pink strapless taffeta gown with a bow and tulle skirt. The strapless gown features a sweetheart neckline made from a panel of dusty pink tulle with horizontal pleats. Slightly covering the tulle bust is a panel of pleated pink synthetic taffeta with horizontal pleats. The synthetic taffeta panel starts on the proper left of the bust area and wraps around the back, creating a 3” wide pleated panel that’s layered over the back bodice. A second panel starts at the proper right and over the tulle underbust, ending on the proper left front. The dress opens at the proper left with a 12.5” long metal zipper with metal teeth. An 18.5” wide self-fabric, pleated double-looped bow is hand tacked into place at the waist and secures over the proper left zipper with a metal snap. The top skirt layer is made from one panel of synthetic pink taffeta. It starts at the waistband at the proper right side and wraps around the back. There’s a horizontal seam at the top right, extending from the waist, creating a triangular asymmetrical shape. A layer of pink tulle is sewn to the taffeta skirt panel as an underlayer. The second layer of tulle skirting is gathered and sewn to a 4” wide yoke. The third layer of tulle skirting is about 30” long with a series of eleven 2.5” wide ruffles sewn on top of it with a large 12” ruffle at the bottom. The final internal layer is a full width of pink taffeta made from four panels of fabric. Two panels were added on the sides, to create a circle skirt.
