A navy and cream straw hat with a cream buckle?. The crown of the hat is made of two pieces, a navy panel for the top of the crown and a cream panel for the base of the crown. The edges of the base of the crown are finished with navy ribbon. A buckle made of possibly plastic is adhered to the proper left side of the hat along the base of the crown. A looped band of navy straw bordered with navy synthetic ribbon is woven though the buckle. The brim of the hat is made of two layers of straw which are then attached along the edge of the brim. The top of the brim is made of navy straw and the underside of the brim is made of cream straw. Navy synthetic petersham ribbon is machine sewn to the base of the crown at the interior. A large woven fabric label is sewn to the center back of the hat along the petersham ribbon. The label reads [anita Pineault]. Two smaller labels are adhered overtop of large label at the bottom. The center label reads [Julius Garfinkle & Co. / WASHINGTON]. The label to the proper left side reads [MADE IN CANADA].
