A blue wool tweed jacket (a) and matching skirt (b). The blue wool collarless tweed jacket features a boxy cut and opens center front with three abalone shell buttons measuring roughly 1.5" in diameter. The abalone buttons are hand sewn to the proper left panel and correspond to three buttonholes on the proper left. One metal hook and eye set is sewn to the top and bottom of the jacket opening for extra security. There are two 3” diagonal bust darts, one on each side, that each intersect with two vertical bust shaping darts. Towards the hem of the jacket are two 5” long faux welt pockets. Each sleeve is made from one panel of wool tweed sewn to itself at the inner arm.
