A black A-line dress with pink and white stripes. The sleeveless A-line dress is made from black, glazed cotton fabric, cut on the bias, with pink and white stripes. Two panels, joined at the center front seam, make up the bodice front. There is a deep V-neckline and arm holes that open from the side seam, with no arm’s eye, but there’s a 1.25” vent where the shoulder seam transitions to the armhole. At the center front of the bodice are two double looped 4.5” wide self-fabric bows that are tacked into place with hand stitches. A 13.5” metal zipper with a metal pull is sewn to the proper left seam and two thread belt loops are hand tacked to the hip (one on either side). Two panels joined at the center front make up the skirt front with two knife pleats (one on either side of the skirt waist). There is one inseam pocket on the proper right. The bottom 2” hem has been folded once and hand stitched into place with whipstitching and the back of the dress mirrors the front construction, with a slightly higher neckline. The inside of the dress is unlined, but the horizontal waist seam is reinforced with a gray synthetic plain weave ribbon. At the interior back neckline is a white woven brand label that reads [STYLED BY LYNBROOK] in blue and red script. There are blue stripes at both the top and bottom of the label. Below the brand label is a white size tag with [18] printed in black block text. All the dress seams are machine stitched together and the center front and back seams are finished with pinking.
