The first row is seated, with the second row standing behind them, and the third row seated on a stage or dais, the front of which is decorated with stars and stripes bunting. The two women at front left hold fans, and the woman at front row center holds a closed parasol. A woman at the back right holds a book in her lap. Church pews are visible in the lower right foreground, where etched into the negative is [MOSS PHOTO. / 1912]. The photograph is on the original rectangular brown card mount, the back of which is stamped [The Moss Studio, / 228 N. PITT ST., CARLISLE, PA.] in blue ink.
