Black silk dress with pink and blue flowers

A black silk twill mid length dress printed with pink and blue flowers. The dress has a wide round neckline with a two inch wide folded collar. The short sleeves have no armscye seam and are made from the same panel of fabric as the bodice of the dress. A gusset is sewn on each sleeve. The dress has a center front seam which starts at the top of the neckline and ends below the bust. Silk velvet cording is sewn below the bustline, a decorative bow is sewn at the center front along the cording. The bust panels are gathered above the silk velvet cording. The dress has a waist seam, the dress is gathered below the waist seam. A center front seam starts below the waist seam and continues to the hemline. A single inverted box pleat is sewn to the center front of the dress below the waist seam. The dress is gathered below the waist seam around the pleat. A metal zipper is sewn along the proper left side seam which starts below velvet cording. Two darts are sewn below the neckline at the back of the dress which measure two inches. Two vertical shaping darts are sewn on the back of the dress which are seven inches long and end at the waist seam. A thread belt loop is sewn on each side of the dress at the waist seam. The dress has a center back seam which starts below the waist seam. A lingerie strap is sewn on the underside of each shoulder, the straps open and close with metal snaps. A one inch wide black petersham ribbon is sewn along the waist seam at the interior. The waist ribbon fastens on the proper left side with two pairs of metal hooks and eyes. Synthetic gauze is sewn between the velvet cording and waist seam at the interior of the dress. The dress has a two inch wide single fold hem. Half inch wide black ribbon is sewn along the edge of the hem. The dress is unlabeled.
