A blue velveteen jacket with embellishments and a matching belt. The jacket (.1a) is made of synthetic velveteen with a printed blue and green marbled pattern. It has a round neckline and opens in the center front. Synthetic braided cord trim is hand sewn along the edge of the neckline, the edge of the short sleeves, the center front opening and hem. A second band of trim is placed along the neckline, center front opening and hem. Multicolored faceted glass and plastic beads with larger purple glass oblong beads are hand sewn along each side of the center front opening and hem. Teal synthetic velveteen is sewn below the beads. The short sleeves have no armscyes and each have a gusset. A half inch wide band of blue synthetic satin piping is sewn on the back of the neckline and is self faced on the front of the neckline. Teal synthetic satin is used as facing along each side of the center front opening. Purple synthetic taffeta is used as facing along the hemline. The jacket is lined with blue synthetic organza. Darts were previously sewn along the organza lining at the back of the jacket but have since been let out and are and sewn with blue thread. The interior seams are surged with the exception with the self facing on the front of the neckline. A blue half inch wide synthetic ribbon seam binder is sewn on the edge of each sleave and the gusset along the interior. The jacket is machine sewn and unlabeled.
