A white gauze petticoat. The petticoat is composed of four tiers of white synthetic gauze fabric (possibly nylon), all machine-sewn together. The top yoke is made from two panels of gauze and has a 5/8” wide cream-colored synthetic twill waistband sewn along the top. The waistband closes with a single metal hook and eye. There’s also 10” long opening at the proper left side that is edged with .25” cream colored synthetic twill ribbon. Three tiers of white nylon gauze, all about 6.5” are gathered and sewn to the previous tier and the bottom tier has a rolled 1/16” hem that has been machine sewn into place. The inside of the petticoat is unlined but there are two cream-colored synthetic twill hanging loops at the interior waist (one at each side of the hip). There is no label.
