A yellow cotton dress with a white eyelet yoke (a) and a plastic bag of buttons (b). The dress features a collar and triangular yoke, each made from one panel of cotton and a floral eyelet design goes down the center of the yoke and around the collar. The bodice is composed of one center panel and two 2” wide side panels that have a series of pintucks, creating a pigeon breast silhouette. At the waist are six 2” wide pleats. Each elbow-length sleeve is made from one panel of yellow cotton seamed to itself at the inner arm. Five 1” wide pintucks run the length of the sleeves and there is a .75” wide panel of cotton fabric at each sleeve. The skirt of the dress is made of four panels of fabric and has ten 11” pleats that extend from the waist to the hem.
