Metal pin with the slogan "Black Designers Matter"

This pinback button was designed by Little Wing Lee, the founder of Black Folks in Design, in 2016. According to Lee, the button was inspired by, “the Black Lives Matter movement and created in celebration of the opening of NMAAHC. Black designers were instrumental in the creation of the exhibit design, interior design, and architecture of the museum.” This was the first product designed for Black Folks in Design.
