Floral brocade jacket and skirt with fringe hem

A floral brocade jacket and skirt with fringe hem. The jacket and skirt are made of cotton synthetic blend brocade upholstery fabric with a dark floral pattern in purple, blue, green, black, and yellow. The jacket (a) opens in the center front, small lapels are made by turning back the top of the center front opening. The jacket is made of three different weaves of dark floral brocade. The yoke of the jacket is made of a floral brocade with thicker yarn and more abstracted florals. A one and a quarter inch wide band with horizontal stripes in green, blue, red, and yellow are sewn below the yoke. A different floral brocade fabric is sewn below the striped band which continues to the hem of the jacket. The two piece sleeves are made of a different dark floral brocade. Trim made of light and dark brown upholstery fringe is sewn along the bottom of the jacket. The jacket has a center back seam, the construction on the back of the jacket mirrors the front of the jacket. A dart is sewn at the top of each shoulder on the back panel. A slit is placed at the bottom four inches of the center back seam. A two inch wide band made of the same fabric as the sleeves is sewn along the bottom center back of the jacket and slightly over the side seams onto the front side panels. The jacket is lined with cream silk and matches the construction on the exterior of the jacket with the addition of princess seams on the back. A dart is sewn on each side front panel of the lining with hand cross stitching. A small patch is sewn on the bottom of each side from panel of the lining. The lining has hand sewn single fold hem. The edges of the center front opening and the hem are faced with dark brown synthetic. The facing and lining are attached with hand herringbone stitching.
