Cotton drawers with lace trim

Cotton drawers with lace trim. The drawers have a one-inch-wide self-fabric waistband. The waistband is open on the proper left side and closes with a glass button and a buttonhole. The top fourteen inches of the drawers have a slit below the glass button. The drawers are gathered below the waistband. A diagonal seam is sewn on each side of the center front seam, ending at the inseam. The drawers are knee length and have a two-inch-wide band of scalloped edge cotton lace. The hem is faced above the lace trim. The lace is handsewn to the bottom of the drawers. The drawers are reinforced with facing that follows the line of the crotch along the front and back inseam. The drawers are machine sewn, unlined, and unlabeled. The interior seams are finished by hand.
