A brown fur coat with a mink collar. The long sleeve coat opens in the center front and has a light brown fur collar. The brown mink collar is sewn overtop of a notched collar that is made of the same fur as the rest of the coat. Three buttons with black cording are sewn on each side of the center front opening. The buttons on the proper right side are decorative while the buttons on the proper left side are functional, and line up with three brown elastic buttonholes on the proper right side. A self-fabric belt is sewn to the coat, starting outside the buttons and continuing onto the back of the coat. The belt is made of three panels, one for the center back and a panel for each side of the belt. A side pocket is sewn on each side of the coat, lined with synthetic satin. The coat is lined with brown synthetic and is handsewn along the neckline, center front opening, and sleeves. Embroidery consisting of two flowers and stems made of black thread and black cording is sewn on each side of the center front opening. Applique of brown synthetic fabric is sewn to the center of each flower. A pleat is sewn along the center back of the coat along the lining. The pleat is sewn down at three points with hand herringbone stitches. The collar is stiffened with buckram. Black synthetic fabric is placed between the fur and the lining. The lining has a single fold and is handsewn to the fur.
