Black hat with ivory hatband and black bow

A black hat with an ivory hatband and black bow. The hat is constructed from a straw braid that has been machine sewn in the round and blocked to shape. The brim and the hat are all one piece and there is a wire inserted along the brim's edge that has been folded under and machine sewn into place. Around the outer circumference of the crown is a hatband made from ivory synthetic twill that has grommeted holes through which two folded black rayon cotton blend Petersham ribbons are laced. The hatband is adhered into place with little spots of glue. At the proper right of the crown is a black double looped bow made from rayon cotton blend material that has been tacked into place with hand stiches and the ends of the bow are knotted. The inside of the hat is unlined but a 1" Petersham ribbon is sewn along the interior crown with monofilament thread. There are two woven labels machine sewn to the center back. The black woven size label sewn on top of the interior Petersham ribbon reads [22 ½] in gold text. The tan union label sewn below the size label reads [UNION MADE / KH 596944 / MADE IN U.S.A 6] in black text. There is no brand label.
