Red straw hat with pleated hat band

A red straw hat with a pleated hat band. The hat is made of woven straw and is blocked to shape. A looser weave is used at the side of the crown at the center. A pleated red synthetic satin ribbon is draped at the bottom of the crown. It is tacked at the center front and adhered along various spots. The ends of the ribbon are crossed at the center back and have angled edges. The proper right end of the ribbon is finished with the selvage end while the proper left side is left raw. The inside of the hat is unlabeled and unlined.
