<I>Negro Makers of History</I>

This hardback, first edition history book by Carter G. Woodson totals 362 pages with 39 chapters. The cover of the book has an iteration of the death of Crispus Attucks at the 1770 Boston Massacre at the top center. Below the image is black text [NEGRO MAKERS / OF HISTORY]. At the bottom margin of the cover is black text [WOODSON]. The book contains a signature on the front endpaper [S. L. Stringer]. According to the Preface this book was intended to be an adaptation of Woodson's "The Negro in Our History" for elementary school children.
