An ivory ribbed children’s dress. The dress features a square neckline with a scalloped edge and embroidered eyelets. There are seven eyelet holes down the center front with an ivory cotton ribbon laced through it. Four machine embroidered flowers – two on the proper right and two on the proper left – surround the laced front. There is an additional embroidered flower at each shoulder, surrounded by eight eyelet holes and scalloped embroidery. Each sleeve has a scalloped edge at the cuff. The bodice and sleeves are all one piece of ivory ribbed cotton that has been machine stitched to the back bodice at the sides. A 2” waistband made from the same ribbed material is machine stitched to the bodice and the front panel of the A-line skirt. The back neckline has a scalloped edge with embroidered eyelet holes and the construction of the back of the dress mirrors the front – one panel piece for the back bodice and sleeves, one panel of fabric for the ribbed belt, and one panel of ribbed cotton fabric for the A-line skirt. The dress hem is turned under and machine stitched to the inside of the skirt. The inside of the dress is unlined and there is no label.
