A pink damask evening gown with a modified sweetheart neckline. The dress is made of synthetic damask in the pattern of leaves and horizontal stripes with metallic thread. The dress is sleeveless and has wide shoulder straps that are shirred at the front where the straps and bodice attach. A dart is placed underneath each strap and two bust darts are sewn at each side seam. There is a waist seam at the natural waist. A sixteen inch metal zipper is set into the proper left side seam which ends below the waistline with a metal hook and eye at the top. Starting from the waistline a center front seam runs down the length of the dress. The neckline at the back of the dress is lower than at the front. The center back panel extends below the waistline ending in three points. The back of the skirt has a center back seam, it is sewn to the back bodice panel and shirred. One dart is placed five and a half inches away from the center back seam on each side of the skirt. The back of the dress is longer than the front leading into a train. The seam allowances are pressed open with raw edges and the bottom of the dress is finished with a rolled hem. The dress is unlabeled and unlined.
