A brimless hat with yellow and orange flower appliqué. The base of the hat is made of light green synthetic taffeta with six machine stitched darts that meet at the top of the crown. The center back dart transitions into a seam that extends to the edge of the hat. Excess fabric from the dart fold is tacked down with adhesive to the crown forming the base for the flowers. Orange and yellow flowers and dark yellow leaves are glued to the hat's exterior which cover most of the visible surface area of green taffeta. Each flower is made of three to four layers of silk organza, blended silk synthetic and glued to the hat's exterior. A circle of synthetic green velvet is glued to the center of each flower. Sheer dark yellow silk chiffon is used to make long leaf shapes at the sides of hat. The interior of the hat is unlined. The raw edge of the green taffeta is folded, and machine stitched to exterior. Cording possibly made of elastic is encased in the rolled hem at the bottom of the hat.
