A tall colorful hat with a geometric abstract pattern. The hat is made of one piece of tubular plain weave cotton. A seam runs along the length of the hat at the center back. The top of the crown is folded into five pleats. They are tacked together with clear nylon thread fishing wire. A self-fabric band is wrapped around the middle of the hat and ties into a bow at the center front of the hat. The band is tacked to the hat at six points. The width of the hat increases at the bottom and angles away from the face at the brim. A stiffener of possibly buckram is placed on the inside of the hat. The interior of the hat is lined with the same fabric that is stitched to the exterior fabric with clear nylon thread at bottom hem.
