One (1) U.S. Army Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB) worn by General Colin L. Powell. This sterling silver rectangular badge has a medium infantry blue enamel face superimposed over an oak leaf wreath, the face itself of which is superimposed by a Model 1975 Springfield Arsenal Musket. The badge is fastened on the reverse by a long needle and bar pin closure and is engraved with word “STERLING” on the bottom part of the wreath. When worn on the Army Service uniform, the CIB is attached at the proper left chest above the breast pocket and above the where the service ribbon bar would also be attached.
