He is wearing dark trousers, a white long sleeve shirt, a medium-toned tie, a black vest, and a brimmed hat. Behind him is a corral crowded with horses. In the background on the right is a cart filled with white sacks and three men standing outside of the corral with coils of rope in their hands and at their waist. The plate is in a tan and black cardboard mount, inside a black metal frame. The right side of the frame is missing.
