A silver plated sugar bowl and lid, used at Wormley's Hotel in Washington, DC. The bowl is round, with a slightly flared rim. It has two (2) curved handles attached on opposite sides near the bowl rim and an attached, rounded platform base with rim. The fully detachable lid has a rounded knob at center and a spoon notch, and a smaller concentric ring around the top of the lid at its midway point. The bowl is engraved on one side with the name [Wormley] in cursive writing. On the bottom of the bowl is the manufacturer's information [MF'D & PLATED /BY /LINSENBAYER A1].
