The stereograph is rectangular in shape with two identical square albumen photographs attached to a piece of orange cardboard. Printed in black on the left side of the card is “VIEWS AT WEST POINT. / G.W. Pach, Photographer, 858 Broadway, N.Y.” Printed in black on the right side of the card is “Hudson River Scenery." Handwritten on the back of the card at center is “Cadet Flipper / 2nd row / U. S. Military Academy / West Point.”
