He is wearing a uniform with a garrison cap and light-colored puttees. The studio backdrop has a building with colonnades and a scenic view of trees and a river. On the bottom right is a signature of the photographer in white that is illegible and [N.Y.] written below. Underneath is the inscription, [U.41121]. The image is vertical while the postcard is horizontal. The top has the words, [POST CARD] in large outlined letters. Underneath are the words, [CORRESPONDENCE] on the left, and [ADDRESS] on the right. On the top right is a square box to [PLACE STAMP HERE]. The post card has not been used and is blank.
