Pennant from the March on Washington carried by Edith Lee-Payne

A white felt pennant with black lettering that reads [MARCH ON WASHINGTON / FOR JOBS AND FREEDOM / AUGUST 28, 1963]. At left is an image of the Lincoln Memorial with the words [I WAS THERE] above and [LINCOLN MEMORIAL] below the graphic. Below this is an image of two hands, one black and one white, joined in a handshake. On the left edge of the pennant is a black strip of cloth sewn with white thread.
