An American Woodmen banner used by Georgetown Camp No. 4. It is purple with gold colored lettering. An image of an ax stuck in a log on green grass is at the center of the banner. White lettering on the log reads “A. W.” The text on the banner reads “GEORGETOWN CAMP / No. 4 / AMERICAN WOODMEN / WASHINGTON. D.C. / ORGANIZED OCT. 20 / 1922.” The banner has gold colored fringe at top and bottom and gold colored trim on both sides. The top of the banner is attached to a wooden pole by metal tacks in four spots. The wood pole has a metal fastener at center. The back of the banner is purple with gold colored, silk lettering at the center that reads "Washington D. C.”
