The cover is made of black paper with green writing on it. The cover reads: [Black Studies National Conference / Southeastern, U.S.A / Black Studies Paradox With a Promise / University of North Carolina at Charlotte / Charlotte, N.C. / March 18-21, 1975]. Next to the text there is a large question mark with writing in it reading: [Who Where When How]. The interior consists of green pages with black writing giving program details. The back of the program is green paper with a poem printed on it. The poem is titled: [Lift Every Voice and Sing / James Weldon Johnson].
