Sylvia - / Charlotte and Elizabeth, the children / all warranted sound, the woman, not / warranted sound --- / To Have and to Hold the said Slaves with their increase]. It is signed and dated March 7, 1854, Charleston, South Carolina. At the bottom left corner is printed [Printed by A.J. Burke, 40 Broad St.]. There are no marks or inscriptions on the reverse.
