Forked blade (<em>zhang</em> 璋)

Ceremonial implement; blade with lateral dull edges flaring to form sharp concave edge on end; lateral projection on each side above perforated tang; dull brownish black with yellowish brown under surface markings; large areas of gray incrustation.
