Sampler

A horizontal rectangle with red, blue and mustard color stitching on natural ground. At the top are six different alphabets in red introduced by crown and Maltese cross and followed by birds. Religious and domestic spot motifs are densely arranged at the bottom. A large unembroidered space in between indicates that the sampler is unfinished. It shows a strong German/Austrian influence.
