Icebergs at Sea, Canada

Seascape sketches including one large-scale and two small-scale views of icebergs at sea off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Dominating the composition at upper center, the largest sketch shows a massive, mostly rectangular iceberg with a vein of green ice at left. It floats on dark blue ocean waters below a grayish-blue overcast sky. At lower left, another iceberg is shown floating on dark waters--this one featuring a prominent, sharp peak at right descending to a flatter portion at left. At lower right, a smaller iceberg, or outcropping of ice, is visible, shaped in rounded forms like an accumulation of bubbles. The ocean water turns green around its shallow shores. The light brown grown color is visible between each sketch.
