Havdalah (separation) candle stand

The ceremony to end Shabbat (the Sabbath) is called Havdalah, which means separation and takes place just after dark on Saturday evening. The ceremony begins with pouring a cup of wine and lighting a special candle with four wicks braided together. Special stands such as this one hold the candle in place during the ceremony.
