Richly enameled in bright tones of green, yellow, blue, and iron-red against a rich, coral ground, this exquisite bowl is in perfect keeping with late K'ang-hsi (1662-1722) and early Yung-cheng (1723-1735) court taste. The abundance of exotic flowers include large peonies, camellias, day lilies, and daisies, all of which were auspicious to the Chinese.
