Curtain

Sprays of flowers, including peonies, chrysanthemums, orchids, narcissi, magnolia, camellia, and plum and cherry blossoms, are scattered across the main register of this curtain. Intermingling with them are a few auspicious fruits, including a citron, peach, lingzhi fungus, and pomegranate. In the center is a single phoenix, a mythical creature that was commonly depicted on imperial textiles, representing beauty and grace.
