Design for a Plate

Albert Dammouse was a prolific French decorator of ceramics, primarily active at Sèvres. He made watercolors, such as this design for a plate, so that other skilled craftspeople would have a guide for application of glazes to the wares. This design appears to be part of a series for a lavish floral dinner service.
