Wall Painting Fragment

Yellow-brown and red pigment on white plaster. Yellow-brown ground with red stripe. Raised zone on surface: molded? Samples of the pigments and plaster were taken and analyzed in the Straus Center in 2023. The results pointed to the following pigments/materials: gypsum, hematite, and goethite for red; gypsum for white. The plaster was identified as gypsum plaster.
