Painted canvas fragment

Partially painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges. Red paint, with matte and glossy areas and a dry brush edge, is applied diagonally with respect to the canvas weave. Craft paper and various surface accretions are adhered to the paint surface. A tide line stain runs along the fragment edge.
