Painted canvas fragment

Partially painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges. A white ground layer is bisected by a taped line. On one side of the taped line the ground layer is covered with dark red paint applied with a dry brush. The fragmetn has a turn edge with staple holes and a tide line stain alng the edge.
