Signs of Discontent: San Juan, Puerto Rico: An anti-American feeling in Puerto Rico is expressed by these signs posted during the early days of U.S. intervention in the Dominican Republic. Although slightly worn--or torn-- a "Yankee Go Home" sign stands out prominently on a wall along this road. The feeling has given new strength to the island's Partido Independentista movement.
