The painting on this flask shows a moonlit landscape framed by glossy porcelain. This work is signed by Fu Yiyao, daughter of Fu Baoshi, a renowned master of traditional Chinese ink painting in the 20th century. Fu Yiyao was initially invested in literature, theater, and cinema. But in 1970 she decided to devote her career fully to painting, and she has become known for oversized ink paintings of landscapes and festival scenes.
