This poster advertises an early solo exhibition of the work of Judy Seidman at the National Museum and Art Gallery in Gaborone. A prominent member of Medu’s graphics unit, Seidman developed a distinctive, boldly rendered figurative style that makes it easy to discern many of the posters for which she was lead designer throughout this exhibition. In addition to working as a graphic designer, Seidman continues to share the history of the apartheid struggle and raise the consciousness of future generations through her writing and community arts initiatives in South Africa.
