Ssenfuka David Joshua is a bible illustrator and cartoonist whose works reflect various themes and drives into various worlds of imagination and storytelling of events. He is working with both traditional and digital tools and over the years he has developed art skills in both medium which is evident in the various works he has created in both commissions and personal works. He was born in 2001, Kabowa to Mr. and Mrs. Lukenge and he currently lives in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. The family household had a library from which he got a lot of inspiration from and his love of painting and drawing grew more from, with books like “The DK illustrated Family Bible” , Ssenfuka David Joshua’ love for drawing and coloring grew continuously fast and as he journeyed throughout the book copying and painting over the illustrations in the book created by Peter Dennis using his fathers marker. At the age of 17, Ssenfuka David Joshua’ love for illustration grew further and he decided to continue it at A’ Level as one of the major 3 subjects he was offering. At this stage He practiced a lot of color mixing through theories and experimentations as he created various Imaginative compositions which was his favorite paper in art subject. From here, Ssenfuka David Joshua continued to Kyambogo University and his aim was to become an illustrator not an industrial designer as the course he had pursued required. And at the University stage, Ssenfuka David Joshua started to execute illustration projects for various clients and the journey continues.
